This Privacy Policy explains how 3SA WEBX PVT. LTD. (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, protects, and discloses information obtained from users (“you”, “user”, or “merchant”) of the Hisab Khata mobile application (the “App”).
By downloading, installing, or using Hisab Khata, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide, maintain, and improve our digital bookkeeping and credit/debit ledger services:
A. Personal Information You Provide
Account Details: Your full name, email address, phone number, store/shop name, and authentication credentials when registering or logging in.
Business & Customer Records: Customer names, phone numbers, addresses, and individual transaction data (amount, credit/debit type, payment mode, date, and transaction notes) inputted into the ledger.
B. Automatically Collected Technical Information
Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, network state, and general hardware specifications.
Log & Diagnostics Data: Crash reports, application performance metrics, session timestamps, and system activity logs.
2. Device Permissions & Sensitive Data Disclosures
In accordance with Google Play’s Developer Program Policies regarding User Data and Sensitive Permissions, here is how and why our App uses specific device permissions:

READ_CONTACTS (Contacts Access)
Used solely to enable the Contact Sync & Import feature, allowing you to quickly select existing contacts from your phone directory to add as ledger customers without manually retyping phone numbers.
Contacts are accessed strictly upon your explicit user action. We never scrape, bulk upload, share, or sell your entire phone contact list to any third party. Only contacts you explicitly choose to import are saved into your ledger.
CALL_PHONE / DIAL (Phone Calls)
Used to allow you to directly initiate a phone call to a customer from their ledger profile screen to discuss pending dues or transaction reminders.
Calls are placed natively via your device's telecom dialer. We do not record, intercept, or log phone audio.
INTERNET / NETWORK STATE
Required for secure cloud account authentication, multi-device synchronization, and loading service updates and advertising assets.
All transmissions occur over industry-standard encrypted channels (HTTPS/TLS).
Prominent Disclosure on Contacts: Hisab Khata accesses your contact directory exclusively to facilitate adding customers to your ledger. We do not transmit your device contacts in the background, nor do we use contact lists for marketing, profiling, or third-party tracking.
3. Third-Party Services & Advertising
The App integrates third-party software development kits (SDKs) to facilitate monetization, typography, and core functionalities. These services may collect technical identifiers:
Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK):
We display banner and interstitial advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect and process device advertising IDs (e.g., Google Advertising ID - AAID), IP addresses, diagnostic information, and general usage metrics to serve relevant or non-personalized ads and detect fraud.

4. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely for genuine business purposes:
To create and authenticate your merchant account.
To accurately calculate, summarize, and display credit, debit, and advance balances.
To generate transaction receipts and statement exports (PDF/CSV) as requested by you.
To facilitate communication with customers via phone or WhatsApp sharing.
To deliver non-intrusive advertisements in compliance with Google Play ad policies.
To protect against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal transactions.
5. Data Storage, Retention, and Security
We adopt strict technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal and commercial data:
Encryption in Transit: All communications between the App and backend servers are secured using SSL/TLS encryption.
Local Caching: On-device cached ledger records are stored securely within your device's private app sandbox.
Access Controls: Access to backend customer records is restricted through cryptographically signed Bearer authentication tokens.
6. User Rights, Account & Data Deletion (Google Play Compliance)
In accordance with Google Play’s Account Deletion Requirement, you have complete control over your account and data:
Access & Modification: You can edit or delete customer entries, transaction records, and shop profile information directly within the App at any time.
Complete Account & Data Deletion: You have the right to request permanent deletion of your account and all associated ledger records, customer profiles, and transaction history.

What data is deleted:
Upon submission of your request, your user account credentials, shop details, customer lists, ledger transactions, and cloud backups will be permanently purged from our live servers within 30 days, without retention, unless required by applicable financial record-keeping laws.
7. Children's Privacy
Hisab Khata is designed for business operators, shopkeepers, and adult individuals managing financial records. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates, legal requirements, or Google Play policy modifications. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. You are advised to review this page periodically.
